Natural Habitat
Candoia: The Pacific Boas by Jerry Conway

The genus Candoia is like no other boa species in the world. They are unique and rare snakes that make hardy captives and need no special requirements. Candoia are very easy to keep and breed. In addition, certain subspecies have the chameleon-like ability to change colors and most have a calm, gentle disposition.

Richard Fisher Reptiles

We have one pair of Solomon Islands Ground Boas. The male is an Orange Honiara Island and the Female is an Ysabel (correct spelling!) island. We have produced large litters from these small adults in the past (28 & 29 babies) and have produced both "ugly" and white ones from this pair.

Swift - Tree Boa (Candoia carinata carinata)

This fantastic arboreal boa from the Solomon Islands, can have many different looks, and background colors. These South Pacific beauties can be dark brown, almost black, to reddish, and olive. Very gentle species, that reaches 4'+! Currently feeding on "fuzzy" mice, you'll love these!\

Trimble Waters Reptiles

New breeding stock of boas and pythons are kept in quarantine for at least two years to prevent contamination with IBD (Inclusion Body Disease). To further protect our animals and yours, we only acquire sub-adult or juvenile boas and pythons for our breeding stock. None of our breeders, past or present, have ever tested positive for IBD
