Captive Care
Care by Brandon Parry

Pachydactylus sp. Care - gekkota.com

Thick-fingered Gecko (Pachydactylus sp.) By: Gregory J. Watkins-Colwell Cage size: Minimum of a 5.5 gallon aquarium (14 inches long, 8 inches wide and 10 inches high) for a pair of these geckos. Wider or longer cages are better than tall, narrow cages, but height is still important because they do climb. Smaller species can be housed as pairs in 2.5 gallon tanks. Larger species will need 10 gallon or larger.

Tiger Geckos (Pachydactylus tigrinus) by R.E.P.S

Tiger geckos are small arboreal gecko reaching 2-3.5 inches. Some larger males can get up to 4 inches but that is very rare. These geckos are from a more tropical area of Africa. Your typical specimens are wild caught but some breeders have raised these and offer them for sale. Most all accumulate to captivity well and can easily live in captivity for over 10 years.
